About
I grew up in Frankford, West Virginia. Small town. The kind of place where everybody knows your name and probably what you had for dinner last night. It gave me grit, roots, and a deep connection to the mountains and rivers that I still carry with me today.
September 11th, 2001. I was eighteen. I remember exactly where I was. I remember the feeling — anger, sadness, purpose, like a switch flipped. I walked into a recruiting office and signed up for the Delayed Entry Program while I was still in high school. Twenty years and fourteen countries later, I retired from the Army and started a second career bringing operational discipline to American manufacturing.
I live in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. I've been married to my wife Ashley for eight years. We have two boys — James, five, and Jude, three. After two decades of deployments, I don't leave their side. Everywhere I go, those boys go with me. Kayaking, biking, fishing — they're right there.
